Membership Application
Welcome to the Krewe of Riviera Revelers!
We’re thrilled you’re interested in joining our Social, Civic & Mardi Gras Krewe. All new members begin as Social Revelers, enjoying access to a wide range of events and the camaraderie of our Krewe.
If you’re interested in becoming a Full Krewe Reveler with voting rights and additional privileges, you can easily indicate your interest during the application process.
We encourage both male and female members to join the the Krewe!
Membership Levels
- Social Reveler: All new members begin at this level, enjoying access to most Krewe events and activities. You will be assigned to a Krewe Line (kind of a Krewe within the Krewe) for your float assignment, meetups, and events. This is your entry point to the Revelers family!
- Krewe Reveler (Full Membership): Includes voting rights, the ability to hold office, Krewe leadership roles, Committee Assignments, nomination for Krewe King or Queen, and access to exclusive events. Indicate your interest in upgrading when submitting form.
- Junior Reveler: This membership level is open to ages 18-20. It models most of the Social Reveler membership access. A Krewe member sponsor (in good standing) is required for all Junior Reveler applicants. All Junior Reveler membership applications will be reviewed at our next Krewe meeting.
Application Process
- Step 1 Complete the Application: Fill out the form with your information.
- Step 2 Social Reveler: You will receive a payment link by email after submitting the form. Your Social Reveler membership begins upon successful payment of your yearly membership dues.
- Step 3 Member Portal / Line Assignment: After payment of membership dues you will be assigned access to our Krewe Portal where you will finish setting up your member profile, access events calendar, join internal groups, and communicate with other Krewe members.
- Step 4 Krewe Reveler Upgrade (Optional): If you’re interested in becoming a Full Krewe Reveler, check the box within the application before submitting.
- Step 5 Junior Member and Krewe Reveler Upgrade Review (If Applicable): If you’ve indicated interest in a Full Krewe Reveler or applied as a Junior Reveler, your application will be reviewed at our next Krewe meeting that you are able to be present.
Requirements:
- Dues: Members are required to pay annual membership dues which cover administrative costs, event organization, and participation in certain activities.
- Participation: Members are expected to contribute by attending meetings, volunteering at events, and helping with preparations for the Mardi Gras season.
- Float Riders: Costumes & Masks must be worn at all times. There is a minimum bead package requirement for the Revelers Mardi Gras parade that will be available on our website. Other float fees are set by Float Lieutenant.
- Full Krewe Revelers: Requires that you actively participate on a committee and attend meetings regularly or at least one meeting a quarter to remain a member in good standing.
Membership Cap:
Total membership is limited to 1000 members, as per our Krewe bylaws.
